It's official; art makes us happy

Innovative, contemporary, green design

http://inhabitat.com/

This work makes me believe that there is no end to possibilities. I am often simply amazed...

I "liked" this page on fb for constant visual inspiration.

The more amazing work we see on a daily basis the more likely we will be to create innovative and unexpected work of our own.

Downtime Logo Request

I was recently asked to create a logo for a professional equestrian. I literally just started it tonight, so here is an image of my brainstorming. Even though this is not part of the summer assignment, I decided to use my IWB because I have a feeling this will be a wonderful logo.. I will keep you updated on this project!
My third page talks about my artistic goals. One of them was to do a few art classes at RISD this summer. My first workshop starts this weekend with "Drawing the Landscape" ran by Amy Bartlett Wright. I am very excited because I need help with my observational drawings!
I started by talking about my goals, interests and my newfound interest in individuality. My second pages reps what I learned this year, and I continue to add to this page when new thoughts come to mind.

POST 1

I have been working on my IWB. I have just been following the criteria. It is kind of hard for i forgot my first IWB at school. The first pages are my autobiography. Then it's what i learned over the year. I talked about simple observational drawings, paintings and shading the egg. I drew some pictures as examples. I am trying to use a lot of colors in my work, to make my IWB more fun rather than....negative. In one of the pictures i drew some things that i remember doing in class as well as new things that i've done thus far.

Visual Play

Hey there everyone! I am sharing something that's fun to do when I'm not sure what to do, or I don't quite feel ready to start something brand new. I recycle old images and put them together in new ways. So this image is a combination of a hi-res photo, a snapshot lo-res photo, and some drawings I made years ago. I made 3 layers in Photoshop and came up with this composition. I'm looking forward to all your postings!
